Because they don't shoot, bomb, strafe, mortar, rocket every single one of them, that's a sacrifice?
Because some people look like civilians and shoot at 'em? I promise you, they shoot back at everyone in those cases.
And, don't forget. Americans are OVER THERE. Without provocation.
If American tactics were designed to lose hearts and minds, if the US set out to alienate the Iraqis, they couldn't have done a better job.
It's tragic. And it's the innocent on both sides who suffer. Always.
