A good read.

Last week I ordered a copy of "Redesigning Humans: Our Inevitable Genetic Future" by Gregory Stock. If you're interested in what genetic engineering holds in store for us in the not too distant future, then I highly recommend it.

The author is the Director of the Program on Medicine, Technology, and Society at UCLA's School of Medicine. I was pleasantly surprised by his enthusiastic support for germline manipulation in people.
