I would pull our troops out of Europe and perhaps some of those in Korea. They are not needed in Europe and whether we have 100 or 30,000 troops in Korea is immaterial. The answer to PRNK would not be conventional.

So, you could say that denying those additional troops where they are needed is playing politics with lives. I'm not sure if that's what you mean. For an answer on why we are there see Pete Stanley's Post below.
