Thanks for the kind thought Tom. I would post more if there were more hours in the day. I agree it would be great to see Mary Anne post more. She is the creme de la creme of the liberals around here. And I must say I enjoy your posts a lot more now than I did several years ago as you have become somewhat more reasonable and balanced. Or should I say less imbalanced? :-)

Besides, overall I'm more of a centrist than a liberal anyway. I'm a liberal BIG TIME when it comes to the environment. I'm more conservative about Iraq. The whole WMD crap is a dead horse. I don't think Bush and Co. deliberately lied about there existence. They were just as surprised as anyone else that WMDs haven't turned up. The intelligence everyone had pointed to them existing. Saddam's actions pointed to them existing. So it looks like now the intelligence was wrong. It was still Bush's job to act on the intelligence he had.

A REAL Bush lie would be something like squelching the true cost esitmates of the prescription drug benefit package he pushed through. That's the kind of thing Democrats need to be hitting him on because there is real evidence he deliberately had the costs skewed.

As for Kerry, he's a lock for the Dems. But if he doesn't start showing some balls and putting some fire in his gut he'll go the way of Dukakis, Mondale and McGovern.
