Why do you think the US invaded Iraq instead of North Korea.

Iraq, with due diligence, was known to not have WMD.

North Korea has nukes.

Iraq had only short-range rockets.

North Korea has long-range rockets.

Iraq was an oppressive dictatorship.

North Korea is an oppressive dictatorship.

Now, if one were interested in freeing the oppressed, if there were the slightest interest in that, and if one were interested in promoting the security of the world and the US,

WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN INVADED?

OH, YOU FORGOT. IRAQ HAS OIL, HALLIBURTON HAS CHENEY, AND NORTH KOREA DOESN'T HAVE ANY OIL.

SO, OF COURSE, YOU INVADE IRAQ.

Simple.

All the "I'm tired of hearing about it" doesn't change the reality. Wishful thinking, denying the nose on your face, doesn't take away the nose. Your bluster doesn't intimidate some. And even if it did, that wouldn't change reality.

Still some people believe in fairy tales, such as Iraq not being about oil.
