2 - You appeared to excuse the US actions by citing the French and UN actions. "Everyone is bad at times", or somesuch.

Now, if I missed your point, please fill me in. If I insulted your kids, please have them accept my apologies, and fill me in on how that happened.

If you're just full of, well, don't fill me in.

I can understand your puzzlement myself. It doesn't make sense to me, either, to excuse one action with the others.
