re: Only seeing what you wish Muslim's to be

I've never demonized Muslim's on any board or in conversation, but I don't have the same view as president Clinton who said Muslim is as American as apple pie. And I'm not a racist who hates Muslim's, just skeptical.

Muslim's believe in slavery and sell slaves to this day.

Muslim's don't believe in separation of religion and government.

When a Muslim women is raped she is automatically guilty and subject to death by stoning. (A Muslim woman was just saved by western pressure from being stoned to death after being raped in Nigeria)

Islamic ruled countries are notorious for human rights violations of Muslim's by Muslim's let alone of other people of different faith.

If a Muslim man decides to divorce a woman (Muslim or not) the man automatically gets custody of the children and the woman is left in disgrace with no rights.

At the same time I am proud that Americans sacrificed there lives for saving Muslim lives in Kuwaiti during the Gulf War, in the Balkans saving Bosnia's, in Kosovo from Serbia and we saved a lot of Muslim's in Somalia from stravation.

We also saved the Muslim's from the rule of the Taliban in Afghanistan and how many Muslim's would die under the rule of Saddam if he were still the leader of Iraq?

All for Muslim's, so I don't see this out right hatred of Americans towards Muslim's, but I do think that people are being fed untruths on the real goal of Muslim's. They don't hold and cherish America's morals and views, they only tolerate them. They want to live by the rule of the Koran and that means government ruled by Islamic religion.

As far as the Christen Muslim conflict take a good look at Jordan and Indonesia for two. Christian's are being murdered in an alarming rate by masked men who round up known Christian's and murder them in the streets.

Egypt is another example. If you convert to Christianity the government doesn't recognize it, Islam is the state religion and Islamic law is the basis for the Egyptian constitution.

I think the Christian's have a valid concern for Muslim actions throughout the world and I am very skeptical of Muslim long term intentions.
I hired a Muslim for part time work while he was attending school and he was as nice as can be, but when it comes down to it, who are they going to protect, America or there brotherhood? His Muslim religous faith was more important than anything.

I thought of that part time worker when I heard the news of the converted American military Muslim who blew up some of his own comrades in Kuwiat while waiting to be deployed to Iraq.
