"Dissemble". OK, how about US v. Japanese-Americans?

We didn't kill the Japanese-Americans, but that's irrelevant. I'm talking attitudes, the attitudes of the majority toward minorities and how they get whipped up. It starts with things like demonizing a population, a bit like the "religion of peace" series which runs here, and then people get afraid to buck the majority.

"McCarthyism" is exactly that. With hindsight it was a grim reflection on US attitudes that very few people stood up to him. Including powerful people. Christianity has it's share of viciousness, including the leader of the aggression into Iraq.

Islamics are causing less havoc in the world than folks who follow the Judeo-Christian traditions. "Christians" have killed 5 times more innocent Muslims than there are people who died in WTC, and there were, for instance, NO Iraqis in that plot. The coddled Saudis were, and they did not get attacked by the US.

It's important to have a perspective, and when everyone, especially a government which cannot seem to tell the truth is urging one to look to one side, only. Clearly there's something on the other side they don't want you to see. People have to look both ways to be safe.

"It all began with police raids,>/a< where they were frantically looking for those of us, whom they thought to be spies. More than two thousand of us were arrested without any evidence of disloyalty. Our businesses were forced to close down, the police were illegally detaining us, evicting us from our homes, and firing us from our jobs. "In the first phase of federal action that was taken against us, we along with anyone else whose ancestry was linked to countries at war with the U.S., where moved out of our areas and our travel was restricted. On February 19, 1942 phase two began when President Franklin Roosevelt issued executive order 9066. It stated that military commanders could designate areas that they could exclude us from living there. Areas such as the western parts of California, Washington, Oregon, and southern parts of Arizona were areas that were restricted from us. We were the only ones who were detained in assembly centers, in large numbers, and later transported under guard to barbed-wire concentration camps."
