There is no such thing as an "economic right." To claim a right, enforced by law, to a certain wage, a certain job, or anything else along these lines is to basically enslave the person who hires me.
Wages and prices should be freely negotiated and set, without government interference. If you feel you are being "ripped off," find another job. If every employer you go to thinks you aren't worth very much, you might want to reevaluate the situation.
