In any case, the lack of initiative and drive does not give a poor person a license to loot those who do have initiative and drive, which some people see as the solution.
Glad you're careful not to point that at me .. as I've mentioned I am in favor of small and medium-scale business, and have personally known many successful people (including my own extended family).
I would never begrudge, for instance, someone's comfortable house, expecially where they earned it like most, fair and square, through hard work. Rather, I would be on about decent and affordable housing for everyone. It's about the macro picture and certainly not about resenting successful individuals, who if anything deserve respect and should be emulated.
