.. guess I got a bit defensive there. I'm just concerned not to be misrepresented here or elsewhere. Not that you were doing that Tom ..

I'm still saying the problem with poverty in Western societies is structural - mega and rampant capitalism. However, I've gotten pretty rusty on the arguments so I think I will check out Galbraith again ..
