YOUR post is offensive. These guys were, for the most part, caught in the act of fighting for Al Qaeda. The HELL with them.
The American forces are trying their very best to defend the USA from further attacks. They are tough. Good. They need to be tough. I have no sympathy for any Al Qaeda member no matter what is done to him by the USA.
PS: Many of these guys are being interrogated by Jordanian and Pakistani security forces. It is not anti-Islamic sentiment at work here. Rather, the Al Qaeda terrorists attacks have created the hatred by other Arabs as well as by Americans. Have you read what has been going on lately in Pakistan and Jordan?
