we are fond of reaching back into our puritanical background and striking a self-righteous pose and telling the rest of the world how they should act. Implicit in this argument is the admonition that if all other nations acted as we do, they would be rewarded by the material blessing we have. This administration approaches the world with a form of moral Darwinism.
