The guy who's going to replace Saddam mustl be chosen by the Iraqis, no one else.
Iraqis don't have a democratic tradition and none have the slightest sympathy towards Israel.

No country needed to help yours for that! That's the point.
Only Iraqis should have done so, without any foreign interference.

Meanwhile, the US can't do much about North Korea, Pakistan, Iran, Sudan as it has exposed all its cards in Iraq, which was much weaker, thanks to the UN sanctions.
Now, the US must stay in Iraq for all kinds of absurd or psychological reasons, leaving other areas exposed to terrorism. The US behaved towards terrorism like the guy who thinks that by crushing the hornet's nest, he'll kill all of them....Well my foot! (or rather his').
