There is a large percentage of Americans (possibly a majority) who know that the Republican attempt to turn the denial of a blow job into a constitutional crisis was a preposterous stretch so far beyond credibility that it defies belief. Most Americans still believe the true outrage was manipulating the law and putting a President on a witness stand and asking him personal questions about his sex life. Were such a thing done to Bush you repuplican guys would be up in arms, and rightly so. The ultimate proof of the pathetic "case" was the total failure to list any specific charges in the articles of impeachment. As a legal document the impeachment case was fatally flawed.

I know you are slow Tom as I have gone over this with you in the past. To pre-empt your response please be aware that saying someone "lied under oath" and "obstructed justice" are NOT specific charges. I could say you "committed murder" over and over again but unless I point out the details of the case I am saying nothing. NEWS FLASH: The specific charges against Clinton were: "Clinton said he never touched Monica's breast's." We have testimony he touched them several times. Specific charges were: "Clinton said he did it on THIS day." We have testimony he did it on THAT day! "Clinton said there was only one blow job." We have testimony that there was more than one blow job. THOSE ARE THE SPECIFIC CHARGES TOM a president of the United States was impeached over. That was the case against Clinton, Tom. Any wonder those charges were never detailed in the articles of impeachment??????? When they wrote the articles of impeachment they didn't have the balls to put in the specific charges because they are obviously preposerous: When he touched Monica, Where he touched Monica and how many times he touched Monica. Those were the specifc charges the republicans failed to put in the articles of impeachment. Also keep in mind this was a consenual relationship and thus was completely immaterial to any sexual harrassment suit financed by Clinton's right wing enemies. It would be thrown out as evidence in any court in the nation because it is immaterial.

Other than this matter in his personal life which was nobody's goddamn business to begin with Clinton did a fine job as preisdent.
