Buck effused...Other than this matter in his personal life which was nobody's goddamn business to begin with Clinton did a fine job as preisdent.
I'll leave it at that what he did was on the job and in the office. Conduct that would have gotten folks like me in the private sector summarily fired.
His job as President during a time when the country benefited greatly from the afterglow of the "peace dividend"...
+ Good economy except for last 6 months of his watch
+ Contributed directly to peace with the Micks in Northern Ireland
+ 'Unilateral' (by today's accepted use of the word) intervention in Kosovo saved lives (sadly, still caught over there in a quagmire)
+ Welfare Reform (mysteriously gives little mention of this accomplishment in his 900 page book)
- Despite recently stated major obsession with OBL, rebuffed efforts by foreign govts to hand him over to us directly
- Failed program to socalize medicine
- SPACE: ISS late and over 2x budget; X-33 Billion dollar hangar queen; no administration push for ANY new initiatives by alleged "space czar" VP; NASA budget CUT every year except last of 8
- Withdrew hastily from Somalia after Black Hawk Down fiasco, furthering weak US image in eyes of terrorist planners
- Like every other US president, let the slaughters in Africa continue unabated
