re: Hypocrisy at work
He was a little shit, at least at that time. The comment was in reference to something he wrote. Lileks also commented on it.
Why is that hypocrisy? Does that mean all Iraqis are little shits? It's liberals that see people as monolithic groups, all alike, that need to be discussed as such. Iraq is full of people, with varying cultures, backgrounds, moral views, and opinions.
As for hypocrisy, the Left's famous blindness toward human rights abuses in favored nations (usually communist) is well-known. Most recent examples have been Cuba and the socialist nations of Africa.
What about Africa? And North Korea? Did I ever express the opinion that the abuses in these nations did not need to be addressed?
