I have pointed out more than once that the people of Iraq have apparently been declared completely irrelevant to this discussion. I don't know why, but they have.
The misery of Iraqis under the sanctions and under Saddam's regime is irrelevant.
The mass graves are irrelevant.
The Iraqi's own opinions on the new government are irrelevant.
The vastly improving economy of Iraq is irrelevant.
That nobody is starving any more is irrelevant.
They're not irrelevant to me.
Try reading the Iraqi blogs for a while. Get some perspective. The whole goddam planet is not revolving around getting Bush out of office.
And yes, I believe worse things could happen to North Korea than to have their nation invaded and the creature ruling them overthrown. Hell, it would actually be an improvement if Red China invaded them. Being invaded by the communists in Vietnam was the best thing that happened to Pol Pot's Cambodia. That's how bad things had gotten. North Korea isn't much better.
The Left used to give a rat's ass about suffering people around the world. Remember what the word "revolutionary" used to mean? Now it's all politics. Maybe it always was.
