Not to worry, when in office even President Clinton and his super climate science czar algore spent ZERO political capital pushing the Kyoto Treaty, a treaty designed specifically to destroy the US economy.
Despite my fun over the omniscience and reliability of climate models I do believe that there is substantial good scientific evidence that the world is growing warmer. And I believe that human greenhouse gas emissions are one driving factor. I believe that we have several economically feasible solutions that would not destroy the economies of Western nations. But they may not be politically feasible... nuclear energy, a gradual conversion to a hydrogen economy, etc. Interestingly enough several leading climatologists say we are headed this Millenium to a new Ice Age, but that's a long topic.
I do find it hilarious that time and again climate models are pronounced THIS is the Mother of All Models and is Absolutely Correct and suddenly yet another factor arises that the models didn't appropriately incorporate. But no problem, just create another newer model.

- Let's see who here has repeated that for the past several years?
- Obviously, this fact makes CO2 increase more critical, not less. (n/t)

- Do you disagree that CO2 is a greenhouse gas?
