I've worked in engineering in software development. You state that engineering models work effectively so we should believe the PREDICTIONS of climate models. There's a big difference. Engineering models meet a scientific criteria in that they are verifyable. Those that fail that test are discarded or more likely modified to fix the flaws. Climate models predicting dire future consequences are not (yet) verifyable. Just because that same model accurately 'predicted' a past event does not prove that the model is correct. A good indication you're on the right track but nothing like proof. What's absolutely comical about climate models is time and again some new factor is discovered that can effect the climate in a big way (solar output increase) but that variable was not in the model. Viola! It's added and the model yet again tweaked until we get the same result. That's not science.
Finally, many climatologists claim that we're headed to an Ice Age and that anything man created is postponing the event. Whom to believe?

- Stick THIS in your climate models!
- Milankovic Cycles
- Let's see who here has repeated that for the past several years?
- Obviously, this fact makes CO2 increase more critical, not less. (n/t)
- what you fail to understand is...
- Do you disagree that CO2 is a greenhouse gas?
- It could have been worse...
