You like to come up with an hypotheses, therefore, I've got to answer with another one.

If the Palestinians had the power of the Israelis and the Israelis the power of the Palestinians, I wouldn't be at all surprised that Israelis would have terrorists groups and human bombs.
Thus is the human nature and the power of faith.
