Do you believe workers should receive fringe benefits? Do you believe their families should enjoy the fringe benefits of their spouses? Do you believe employees should enjoy the right to collectively represent themselves to their employer?
If the employees who create a product can't be paid a living wage and fringes, then maybe that product shouldn't be made. Not until there is demand enough to make enough of a profit to include paying workers. If you enjoy Twinkies so much, then pay the people who make them a wage which allows for medical insurance, for instance. And include their spouses, a good idea, wouldn't you agree?
I get sick and tired of people who enjoy Union benefits bitching about Unions. Hypocrites of the worst kind, wouldn't you agree? On a par with wealthy farmers enjoying subsidies bitching about school lunches, or ranchers enjoying BLM land and water for next to nothing bitching about food stamps.
Hostess has wanted to break up for some time, and this is their excuse. And people living on Union wages and benefits will blame the Union. Some people simply hate the working person. Simply hate them. Maybe they are just envious.
