Vampire Capitalism is considered perfectly legitimate, entrepreneurial free enterprise, even by the last guy who ran for President. He was actually proud of what he did for a living. These creeps are delighted they have figured out how to get rich out of the misery and unemployment of others. After all, those proles don't count, they're just takers, not makers, too stupid and lazy to have their own businesses.
Yeah, I guess they really resent the melting Arctic stories too. The Conservative opposition to that was not just legitimate caution about speculative science, fear it might provoke an expensive, premature or unnecessary response from policy makers. Oh no, the industry shills and their sleazebag political lapdogs ridiculed and insulted the very idea and everyone who even considered it, not to mention poured millions into a campaign of lies and misdirection to make sure that nothing was done about it. And why? Because their sales might be threatened and their taxes go up, and their profits cut back. Who the hell do these people think they are?
