I'm really flattered that you read and apparently memorize even my most casual posts. Let us deconstruct the phrase "tool of capitalists".

What is a tool? Some of the dictionary definitions are exceedingly narrow, and refer to the literal tools you hold in your hand. But half the definitions are broad enough to cover the concept of tool:

2 a : something (as an instrument or apparatus) used in performing an operation or necessary in the practice of a vocation or profession b : a means to an end c often vulgar : PENIS
3 : one that is used or manipulated by another

Workers are certainly a means to the capitalist's end; they are necessary to the vocation or profession of making money from the labor of others. And certainly a worker is one that is used by another, and often manipulated. In fact we say that tools as well as workers are "employed", and therein we confront the fact that "use" and "employ" are synonyms. An employee is one who is used; there's no sugarcoating the bald truth admitted by that word.

Why try to deny a fact of life? If workers aren't profitable tools they aren't employed by capitalists. Love never enters into it. We're not running a charity around here...
