Well done, Tom.

If Gore had been president, 9/11 would have happened. Would he have tried to ignore the terrorist like his boss did after the first WTC attack, or the Cole attack or the US African Embassy attack? Would Gore have stuck his head in the sand? Would he have become the foaming-at-the-mouth lunatic he is now?

He might have tried to ignore 9/11, but I believe the American Citizens would have demanded action. His action probably would have been more diplomacy. In the eyes of the Middle East, America would have looked weak and as easy prey.

Then the next terrorist attack against America would have happened and that would have been it for Gore.

Clinton ignored several terrorist attacks during his 8 years. Did the Middle East love us? Did they leave us alone? Instead we had Saddam thumb his nose at us as he shot at our planes and played hide and seek with the UN inspectors. We also had 9/11.

Listening to the left, they seem not to want to accept the reality that we live in a dangerous world where people not only hate us, they to kill us.

What was that line in Independence day. The president ask the alien what they want us to do. The alien replies “Die”.

President Bush’s plan is to turn Iraq and Afghanistan into democracies. This will be a historic change to that region. The only way to wind the war against the terrorists is to change the environment that spawns them. If we do not, new one will replace those we kill. Only by sparking the flames of freedom in the Middle East, will we change the environment.

One day, when the Middle East is a peaceful free region of the world (Hopefully it will not take decades) history will look kindly on President Bush and say he did the right thing and here is the result.

I want my kids to grow up in a world where the Middle East is free and where its people do not become terrorists.
