Sorry, the bit about responding to uncomfortable evidence with "Lies! Lies!" was just too good to pass up.

Look, for many Democrats this entire election is based on the premise that somehow, even if we don't change any major policies from Bush's policies, that things will work better if Bush just isn't in office. Robert has said so in so many words. The Doonesbury cartoon was just a crystal-clear illustration of this.

I'm not buying it.
