Hogwash
We finished the first Gulf War. Fact is the sanctions and inspections were effective in achieving their objectives at a fraction of the cost in lives, dollars and international credibility. Continuing the sanctions and inspections would have served this nation's interests far better than starting an unprovoked and reckless war. The second war in Iraq was a terrific mistake. Hopefully, the American public will hold Mr. Bush accountible for his error this November.
