Hey Rob,
I downloaded the documentation for the scope and have learned a lot more since posting. I checked out a couple of astronomy books and am using all this cloudy weather to brush up on my constellations. So far I've only had 1 really good day of observing due to time and weather. Hoping for clearer weather soon.
I'll let you know next time I cross the cascades. The ironic thing is I probably wasn't too far from you since I crossed over on Steven's Pass and spent 2 days in Edmonds. Museum of Flight sounds great.
