Guess the Indian Casino's 8 million contribution to Democratic Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante for the recall election doesn't count.
What Arnold managed to accomplish is the first tax on California Indian profits from the casino's to the tune of 25%.
Democrat Gray Davis signed an agreement so that they didn't have to pay any taxes.
Do you think the expansion would not have occurred if a democrat was in office?
BTW, that casino was established in 95 and has been expanding for years now with other older card rooms in the vicinity.
