What I'm hearing is it was scaled back to 2,500 slots from 5,000.
How on earth is it a cheap shot to mention it? (OK the "Republican family values" line, might be on the cheap side.
That's it! Sure it's news, it's the way you presented it.
Pretty mild compared to some of the partisan trash you see around here lately, though. Why don't you complain about some of Larry's or REB's or Phil's or Tom's bargain basement partisanship?)
And you complain about the liberal partisan trash seen here? Come on, you won't want me tp spoil your fun.
Back to the point, here is an idle, speculative question: when Arnold was crowing about the deal he reached to increase the contribution from Indian casinos to the state, was this expansion part of that deal? But undisclosed at the time?
Don't know, but I can't imagine there wasn't going to be give a take from both sides, gee what did you expect, the Indian's to roll over and disregard their advantage with the law on there side?
I think California's got the best deal. Do you really think you would be able to stop the Indian casino's from expanding, taxes or no taxes?
