I have also pointed out these other reasons although I'm not wild about nuclear power. I wouldn't rule it out, but we have plenty of reasons to be wary of it. Why hand wave away real scientific work about potential negative consequenses of burning fossil fuels when replacements are so obviously needed for other reasons as well?
