NO nuclear plant has ever been built and operated without a subsidy from some government. The biggest subsidy in the USA is the Price-Anderson act that limits liability. If nuclear power were viable and safe, it would be able to afford insurance. It can't. Therefore the population must bear the risk instead of the nuclear power industry.

Tom, get with it. Nuclear power is a farce. The only reason countries are building nukes is to make bombs.

When a private company builds and operates fully insured, non-subsidized nuclear plants at a profit, THEN I will believe in nuclear power. This is not going to happen.
