There Was Disagreement On The Aftermath
I also believe Bush considered the negative consequences, but was over confident we could handle it. I'm not supporting Bush because I can't imagine a better alternative or think one equally good would be hard to find. I'm supporting him because Kerry has changed his tune so many times I don't trust him. I have also seen no evidence Kerry could have handled the situation better. I don't buy his hand waving explanations of how easy it would have been to do better. The situation looks hard to me. I don't see an easy way out. I think we are generally going in the right direction with a lot of miss steps on the way.
