The Democrats nominated a candidate that just can't win IMO. Kerry seems to be a very unreliable and untrustworthy individual that can't seem to figure out which way the wind is blowing. If I were running the DNC I would not have wanted a candidate with such a long career in the Senate because there's way too much history there to dissect and ridicule. Being an Independent, I have the luxury to vote for who I think is best for the job regardless of party affiliation and so far Kerry just isn't cutting it for me. I'm just basing that on Kerry's political history and not what he did or didn't do before or after the Vietnam War.

IMO - Terry McAuliffe needs to go because if Bush wins this election and Rudy Giuliani runs in 08 they're going to need competent leadership. There's a real good chance the Republicans could have the Whitehouse for four terms.
