"Kerry's definitely in a bit of disarray in keeping track of all his statements but it just doesn't seem out of line with the emotional turmoil that I'm sure he's experiencing from the bitter attacks the Bush supporters have nailed him with. I'm not sure any thinking and reasoning human wouldn't falter a bit in the onslaught I've seen thrown at him. "
The President of the US is a tough job. Every president regardless of party or even how poorly they perform in office are due respect for handing the responsiblity of this job. There is no reason to suppose that Kerry would have it any easier if he were elected. Quite the opposite should be expected and as far as I'm concerned is more probable.
Now, I can understand that you think Kerry has been under pressure, but I see the problems he is having of his own making and I see a lack of media pressure on Kerry. One point of fact, is Kerry hasn't held a press conference for about a month. Kerry is in a campaign and he is unwilling to do a press conference??
He is being handled with kid gloves, and as a president in a national crisis, he won't be handled with kid gloves.
