Some people expect instant gratification

They expect everything to happen as quickly as it does on the Internet. Real life seldom works that way.

- Most kids don't start out with the same standard of living as their parent have achieved after 20+ years of marriage.

- Most people have to start at lower level positions before working their way up the career ladder.

- And most nations take years to go from a totalitarian government to one based on freedom (e.g. Germany took 7 years following WWII).

Mature adults know that most things take time and that freedom has never been free.
