Most of the "creating terrorists" arguments rest on the thesis that somehow these are disgruntled grocers rising up against the coalition and the Iraqi government. It isn't so.

If these people weren't giving us crap in Iraq, they would probably be doing so right now in Afghanistan. Or New York.

Well, I guess the Baathists wouldn't. They would still be running the entire nation of Iraq.

Where do you think Zarqawi would be right now if we had never attacked Iraq?
