re: I've seen the US, yes sir...

I've seen NY State many times (have relatives at Jamestown NY); I've been to New York once, Washington DC 4 times with several days stay each time; I've been by bus from NY to Miami in a 10 day long trip visiting all the landmarks between(that was 1990); I've been by car from Denver to Denver, going to Utah thought Dinosaur Nat'l park, Nevada, California, Arizona...(1978 six weeks tour) visiting Salt Lake City LA, SF, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Sequoia Nat'l park, Death Valley , monument Valley (not meteor crater), the Air Force Academy Colorado Springs and I forget what else..No I've never been to Texas or Saint Louis MI....and the Grand Canyon 5 times from above, the surface, below with a raft (twice) but not with a mule....yet.
I've seen Edwards AFB once and the KSC 4 times with a Shuttle launch in 1985.
I've visited the US 11 times so far. Shortest trip one week longest 6 weeks. And it's still very vivid with hundreds of pictures.
Many americans would say I've visited more of the US than most americans (a cousin in Jamestown never went more to the west than Cleveland).
But perhaps, even then, I don't understand many americans, especially those for whom religion takes such a large part in their life.
