I do some writing myself, but am only a third of the way through my first book. He's got four books out, and going on five, and as with Terry Pratchett, Ellison, or many others, I'd give an arm to write as well as he does. James Lileks, as well as many other people, have come up with ideas and ways of expressing them that I feel are worth passing on.
If that's "quivering," make the most of it. I just put up the links. Nobody's making anybody approve of them, or even read them in the first place.
