Absolutes

Absolutes make a lot of people nervous. They don't let you have everything your own way, and the law of exclusion means you can't have your cake and eat it too. Worst of all, it means coming to decisions and drawing conclusions. John Kerry, on the other hand, blows enough smoke out of his ass to make Mt. St. Helens weep with envy.

Look, if you are going to vote for a president based on the premise that his primary goal is to get nations* which have done us very few favors over the years to somehow "like" us, fine. I've got other priorities.

Good God, what possible conditions do you think would have to be met by ANY president to get Egypt, China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Brazil, and goddam Libya to send troops and/or money to the Iraq freedom effort? What are you smoking? Drop a fusion bomb on Tel Aviv?

* which shall apparently be nameless since everyone seems to get frantic when specifics are raised.
