Bugs

LJ — 10/21/2004 8:25:24 PM (archived)

I'll put one of our Quesnel Lake horseflies (flying pit bulls) against one of your wimpy Florida mosquitos any day! Our dog has a lot more trouble with horseflies than with grizzlies.

Then there's the black-flies, which individually have an IQ of about 10^-9, but collectively are geniuses.

Fortunately, none of the bugs have a very long season, and only the odd horsefly ventures out onto the dock.
