As has been pointed out, selecting Democratic strongholds for recounts was just the start.

Democrats making pious proclamations about "every vote counting" despite ballot irregularites that would have caused the ballots to be discarded under normal conditions, while at the same time doing their damnedest to shitcan military absentee ballots for mailing technicalities, made their real motivations pretty obvious.

That, and the fact that the legal attacks were activated before the polls even closed.
