Fallujah

Tom Brosz — 11/8/2004 5:29:36 PM (archived)

An AP story, here. Judging by the photos, the insurgents have as many imbedded reporters as the coalition does. And boy, are they going to take advantage of that.

Marines have already found a youth center wired with explosives. I'm sure they didn't find all such setups. Watch for civilian deaths that the insurgency will blame on Americans. The American military will then say that they didn't do it. The Left will instantly believe the insurgents.

Anyone want to start a pool on when the first Burning Girl picture comes out?

I see them both as a symbol of warlikeness that should not be used to infer specific intentions. In that respect, equivalent. (n/t) - alcaray - 11/11/2004 5:10:24 PM
