good and wise reply. One quibble, though:

I could barely see the possibility of inducing modulated inner ear vibrations using some external high-frequency sonic source

I take it that this is the closest I am ever going to get to any recognition of, or reply to, my own thread, above.

Did you 'barely see the possibility' before my post, or did you think the whole thing was bullshit, as you (with many others) had never heard of it? I'm curious. I once read an article by a prominent psychiatrist in which the word psychoacoustics was placed in quotes (check Google for the amount of citations; it was first coined in the 1860s), and who wrote that interest and study of this topic 'is not necessarily psychotic'.

I only respect scientists who readily admit their limitations, and when they're wrong. I really respected Nick Hoffman for doing just that this year, after MER data overturned his own longheld views.

Not that you or David F Mayer or RL were doing this, but it was hard to tell, and I hoped to distinguish between science and conspiracy theories.

You have done that extremely well in your post here - both in terms of the psychology of conspiracy and the impossibility of 'broadcasting' information via microwave. Still, I would have appreciated some reply or acknowledgement from you and others. At laest RL did respond, which I appreciated.
