One point that needs comment is the issue of "models". These mathematical simulations of the climate are all very simplistic, when compared to the real thing. None of them include the dominant effects that I mentioned. Many of the researchers who have created these models disagree with each other, more proof to me that the modeling is still at a primitive state.
Notwithstanding all that I have said above, I agree that we must reduce, or preferably eliminate altogether, fossil fuel use. Even if the effect is subdominant, it is still likely (not certainly) in the direction of warming which is taking place for other external reasons. Even if a house is already burning, it does not help to throw gasoline on the fire.
What I would like to see is a $50 dollar per barrel tax to bring petroleum up to the prices of vegetable oil. Then refiners could use vegetable oil instead of petroleum in existing refineries without change.

- You were one of the 'truly stupid' I was talking about
- Hardly a scienfic response
- Dogmatic
- He was doing what I predicted the truly stupid will do...
- see my other response... that better larry? (n/t)
- Not much
- I NEVER said that humans or even CO2 were the ONLY influence on climate- typical of you to rephrase what I am saying to make it possible to attack me.
- DID YOU EVEN READ MY POST?!
