Where do you get YOUR news? What's the first place you turn when you want to find out something? Just curious.

I agree that the blogosphere is no less susceptible to the failures of the mainstream media. The difference is that there are thousands of choices, a healthy market system with no monopolies, and a constant winnowing of information by thousands of intelligent and observant people.

Right now, the blogosphere is helping in the disaster in South Asia, filling the same role ham radio operators have done in disasters. Only there are a lot more people with computers than ham radios.
