Ramsey Clark is a buffoon. This is the jerk who sued the federal government for wrongful death of the suicide prone pedophile cult known as the Branch Davidians. He lost that one big time. If Mr. Hussein were smart - not something very likely - he would respectfuly decline Mr. Clark's offer. Mr. Hussein might do better if he hired Mark Geragos or Johnny Cochran.
As for the "trial of the century" - I doubt it. The final outcome is already established - guilty as charged. This won't have half the suspense as the Scott Peterson trial.
Frankly, it would be a lot cheaper if we just kept the guy in jail and never held the trial. The longer we can hold one off the better. Perhaps he'll die before a jury is selected.
