Actually, if anything, I think the present course of action will reduce the chance of a nuclear weapon being detonated in America.
Certainly, keeping our heads in the sand and hoping the U.N. and Europe will sort things out isn't going to protect us.
It should have taught us that to fight it we had to adapt. Instead we treat it like something between the cold war and the failed banana-republic-ing of the past century.
We have established on this board that there is massive opposition to using major military force against rogue nations.
Now, apparently we are establishing that infiltration, gathering of real intelligence, small-scale precision strikes and covert operations are also verboten to the Reality-Based crowd.
The U.N. isn't accomplishing one damn thing in Iran. We've already seen in North Korea that payoffs and bribes don't stop this kind of activity.
So, what are YOUR brilliant ideas for fixing this? What SHOULD we be doing about Iran? "Adapt" how?
What would John Kerry be doing right now?

- Interesting. And, you'll notice it's about Iran, not North Korea or Pakistan.
