The differences in light and dark are due to thermal readings, but light areas still show where higher elevations are... they received the most sun light and heat of the day.
I write it as I see it and I can't convey it any better than I did in all those posts above.
I may be a visual artist now, but my first love was and may still very well be Astronomy.
