The actions on the ground don't match the propaganda coming out of them.
If you believed these people as events have unfolded, consistently followed them, there is no problem, the Iraqis are one happy bunch of people, and the US is vastly admired and respected.
There is no quagmire, the insurgency is weakening as demonstrated by increased attacks signalling desperation, and democracy will soon be restored to a nation clamoring for an American puppet government.
Which doesn't seem to match reality, does it?
So, what're ya gonna believe? DoD nonsense, or the actions on the ground?
Platitudes, or body counts?
Bulls**t, or bombs?
The words coming out of this administration have come to mean the opposite of what is said. And that poll is a precursor of a PR effort to "sell" that voting to the world to legitimize the puppet government. We're gonna see more feel-good blogs, more feel-good articles, more feel-good pictures than we've experienced in a long time.
All to cover up reality. It ain't democracy, it ain't an election, and it ain't peaceful over there.
